Using Color, Patterned fabric, and Cohesiveness
We’re excited for you to dive into this fresh blend of imagination, fashion, and creativity!
We hope you enjoy it!
Meet Amani, our curvy doll! It was a delight to design unique clothing pieces that fit her body type. We used existing clothing patterns to ensure the top fit correctly and comfortably. We particularly enjoy creating long skirts that are easy to cut and sew together, so we custom-fitted the skirt to accentuate her curves while making sure the length was appropriate for Amani's height.
The shoes were made by a creator I discovered on Mercari, and the accessories were handcrafted to complete her look. We designed a denim headband, a bag made from vegan leather, and a fluffy fabric for her scarf.
We had a wonderful time creating this unique outfit for Amani, and she looks fantastic in all the pieces we crafted and sewed by hand. We hope you enjoy her style!

Dax
We are excited to share a fresh look we’ve created for our doll, Dax. Dax has a muscular, broad-shouldered body, which made designing a custom look for him quite a challenge. We started by taking measurements and creating patterns for pants, shirts, coats, and accessories. We chose fabrics from our bin of recycled materials, basing our color palette on Dax's skin tone to ensure the look was unique, cohesive, and complementary.
The denim coat is made from a recycled denim curtain, and the collar was crafted from fabric left over from a previous project. His shirt was created from a recycled button-up shirt, while the fabric for the pants also came from a past project. We sewed all the garment pieces using embroidery thread, relying solely on hand stitching—no sewing machine was used. Additionally, we repurposed scraps of leather for an accessory and added ribbon to the sides of the pants for an extra touch.
We didn’t start with any sketches for this look; instead, we let our imagination and creativity guide the process. Sometimes, we can’t even pinpoint where our inspiration comes from. We love to create when the motivation strikes! We hope you enjoy these images of Dax modeling the handmade clothing pieces custom-fitted to his body.
PattiPatti is one of the newest additions to our doll collection, inspired by a famous stylist and consultant from New York. We decided to keep her name as is, but gave her a unique look!
Patti has distinctive facial features and hair. We began by braiding her hair and adding clear glittered pony beads, wrapping them in a light lilac-colored embroidery thread. Her top is designed in two parts: the main body and the sleeves. We tailored the top to fit her body type perfectly.
Next, we worked on the skirt, although we hadn’t planned out the design correctly. We had to pivot along the way, but this resulted in a uniquely crafted skirt that turned out beautifully in the end. Her accessories were designed to complement her overall look. We recycled old nylons to create her stockings, vegan leather to create the bag, and the scarf is made from a fluffy fabric. Lastly, we paired the outfit with some high-top shoes. All clothing pieces were sewn by hand, allowing the details to stand out beautifully. We hope you enjoy Patti's final look!
We worked hard to ensure that the clothing pieces would be cohesive with the three dolls. We are always pleasantly surprised when we see the final look on the dolls. It brings us immense joy and satisfaction to bring an idea from our minds to life. We want to say: never stop believing in your passion or ideas!
