Transforming random fabrics scraps into a complete outfit

Hello, Creatives and Readers!

We made a handmade outfit for Zhen from scratch, including a shirt, pants, and jacket. This was our first attempt at creating an outfit for a male doll, and we found inspiration on Pinterest. To make the clothing patterns, we adapted human-size patterns to fit the doll's scale. We used materials like corduroy fabric, recycled denim, recycled cotton fabric, faux leather, sewing string, velcro, glass beads, and embroidery floss. Since we weren't confident using a sewing machine, we sewed everything by hand. We realized the importance of having sketches or patterns for designs, but sometimes we let our imagination guide us. We finished the look by making a fanny pack out of faux leather and thin glass beads.
