Brainstorming for the spring and summer season


Hello, creatives and readers!

We are currently working on a new project for the upcoming Spring/Summer season, where we aim to create fresh looks. To achieve this, we have 11 dolls that will serve as our models. As each doll has unique hair colors and facial features, we hope to create looks that reflect their individual personalities. Additionally, we are keeping in mind the different skin tones and body types of the dolls, so that each look will be tailored to fit them perfectly. Our goal is to ensure that every doll will have one piece of clothing or accessory that is exclusively unique to them.

We have gathered a variety of fabrics and shoes to help us find inspiration for creating a cohesive fashion collection. To achieve our goal, we conducted research on how to create a fashion collection. With this information, we are now proceeding with the concept of the shoes and fabrics that we have already selected. Our plan is to create unique silhouettes and patterns, so please wish us luck on this exciting endeavor!

We found Pinterest to be a great source for gathering fashion references. It was easy to pin and save the inspiration. We are currently working on sketches, developing clothing patterns, figuring out color schemes, and finalizing the styling for each look. We will create a new blog post where we will share the final looks using all the materials seen below.

It was a delight to design unique clothing pieces that fit her body type. We used existing clothing patterns to ensure the top fit correctly and comfortably. We particularly enjoy creating long skirts that are easy to cut and sew together, so we custom-fitted the skirt to accentuate her curves while making sure the length was appropriate for Amani's height. The shoes were made by a creator I discovered on Mercari, and the accessories were handcrafted to complete her look. We designed a denim headband, a bag made from vegan leather, and a fluffy fabric for her scarf. Inspiration from a Designer

Hello Readers and Creatives, We want to start by thanking a special friend who has generously shared her fabric scraps with me. This not only helps with recycling but also allows us to create something new from materials that might otherwise go to waste. Among the fabric scraps, she pointed out some squares that were cut out, with the corners sewn. She suggested I might create a cone bra reminiscent of the one Madonna wore, designed by Jean Paul Gaultier. We took her suggestion into consideration and began inspecting the squares to figure out how we could transform them into a cone bra or perhaps a top. We needed to choose a doll for this project, and we decided to work with Amani, a curvy doll that we enjoy using for risqué fashion. Once we had chosen the doll, we measured the squares against her breasts to shape, mark, and fold them into cones.
