Styling all in PINK

Hello Readers and Creatives,

During the last six months of 2024, we decided to take a break from creating. We weren't sure how long this break would last, which is why we ended 2024 without producing any new outfits or looks for the dolls.

In January 2025, we focused on brainstorming ideas for continuing this blog. Our time management had changed, leaving us with little time to create. We kept brainstorming and trying to figure out how to move forward with what we started. Thanks to Valentine's Day, we found some inspiration in February 2025. We pulled out the sketchbook, fabric swatches, embroidery thread, sewing needles, a sewing machine, fabric paint, and other supplies. We’re now excited to share a few images of the pink looks we've put together for our dolls. We hope you enjoy them!


All items on this doll were sourced from Etsy.

The dress was from a doll, the hat, socks, and accessories were handmade, while the shoes were sourced from eBay.
 
The scarf was handmade, the pants were from a doll, and the other items were sourced from Etsy and Amazon.
  
The outfit for this doll was handmade, while the shoes were purchased from eBay.

It was a delight to design unique clothing pieces that fit her body type. We used existing clothing patterns to ensure the top fit correctly and comfortably. We particularly enjoy creating long skirts that are easy to cut and sew together, so we custom-fitted the skirt to accentuate her curves while making sure the length was appropriate for Amani's height. The shoes were made by a creator I discovered on Mercari, and the accessories were handcrafted to complete her look. We designed a denim headband, a bag made from vegan leather, and a fluffy fabric for her scarf. Inspiration from a Designer

Hello Readers and Creatives, We want to start by thanking a special friend who has generously shared her fabric scraps with me. This not only helps with recycling but also allows us to create something new from materials that might otherwise go to waste. Among the fabric scraps, she pointed out some squares that were cut out, with the corners sewn. She suggested I might create a cone bra reminiscent of the one Madonna wore, designed by Jean Paul Gaultier. We took her suggestion into consideration and began inspecting the squares to figure out how we could transform them into a cone bra or perhaps a top. We needed to choose a doll for this project, and we decided to work with Amani, a curvy doll that we enjoy using for risqué fashion. Once we had chosen the doll, we measured the squares against her breasts to shape, mark, and fold them into cones.
