Hello readers and creatives,

We have been busy working on summer looks for our dolls and adding new dolls to our collection. We're excited to share that we have used recycled fabric to create these outfits!

Our design process begins by imagining each doll's personality based on its facial features and makeup. From there, we examine each doll and start laying out fabric swatches to determine which combinations look best. Once we settle on a silhouette or pattern, we begin assembling the garments. Occasionally, we forego traditional patterns and eyeball the pieces, trusting that they will turn out as imagined.

We have reused patterns from previous creations while also exploring new designs inspired by summer. Some of the fabrics included patterns, which helped us create a cohesive color palette. Working with stretch velvet made the garment creation process easier and more enjoyable. We had a lot of fun experimenting with this material and discovering various ways to utilize it.

Additionally, we used cotton, leather scraps, clear vinyl, and felt in our designs. We custom-made jewelry using small beads to accessorize the dolls and created accessory bags to complement their outfits. We also paired some looks with white shoes to tie the whole appearance together.
